Ashad got a call one day and when he rescued the snake from being killed by building workers, it was late night. To our surprise, that was a beautiful, small, but looking like a pure miniature version of Python. Anybody would easily mistake it for a kid python but it is a different snake and looks really like a miniature python.
This was about 22 inches in length; head is of typical boa family, weighing about 320 grams. very gentle and some times bites like an injection prick but non-venomous.
We cleaned him, fed him with a small rat and left him in rat holes near the lake at Kapra sainikpuri on 22 Dec 2009.
